A few days ago we reported on the wild speculation making its way through the automotive press that Michael Schumacher may have suffered his traumatic brain injury due to a GoPro mount on his helmet. After allowing the press to gobble up this non-sense for a few days the source of the rumor has now recanted:
French journalist Jean-Louis Moncet recanted his comments suggesting that Formula 1 legend Michael Schumacher's injuries in a skiing accident last year may have been caused by a wearable camera made by GoPro Inc.
"Talking about GoPro, there were no news. It was just my opinion," Moncet tweeted on Tuesday.
This retraction may be a result of rumors that GoPro was preparing legal action against Moncet.
