2004  was the 50th anniversary of Ferrari.  To celebrate, Ferrari was the featured marque at the Monterey Historics that year.  For those fans arriving at the track on Saturday a big surprise was in store as Ferrari brought to Laguna Seca, the 2003 Ferrari F2003Ga Formula 1 car.  The F2003GA had been driven by  World Champion Michael Schumacher the previous season.   In the 2003 F1 season the car won seven races, five pole positions, and five fastest laps.

Piloted by Ferrari test driver Andrea Bertolini the screaming Ferrari V10 filled the hills with one of the most beautiful sounds man has ever designed.  It was truly an amazing day and for many folks at the track that day the closest they had ever been to a modern F1 car.
