Well, it's official, the first TLP sighting of the new Lamborghini Huracán! Bam! Here it is!

Whilst wandering the lagoon area at last weekends Tudor Championship race at Laguna Seca we spotted the Lamborghini hospitality setup and went over to take a look to see if there were any friendly faces from the NorCal Lambo club.  As expected, we ran into club prez George Markle, who gave us the lowdown on club festivities associated with the SuperTrofeo race.  As were were chatting, a spectacular blue Aventador roadster with contrasting cream interior rolled up grabbing our attention.  That was pretty good.  Then as we glanced over our shoulders, we saw it in all it's glory...a grand spanking new Huracán LP 610-4 on display.

From the rear...

This replacement for the incredibly versatile Gallardo is the new competition for the Ferrari 458 and McLaren MP4-12c.    It's powerplant is a 5.2 litre V-10 (naturally aspirated), and as the badging suggests, it sports around 610hp and over 400 ft-lbs of torque!

Tasty carbon bits

The bells and whistles are too numerous to list, and Lamborghini will undoubtedly double down and then double down again on every subsequent iteration of the chassis and engine.  Reports have cited a base model in the $185ks, but it really looks like it will start closer to the $200ks.
