From Heaven to Green Hell

photo You may remember Felix Baumgartner the guy that  set the world record for skydiving an estimated 39 kilometres (24 mi), reaching an estimated speed of 1,357.64 km/h (843.6 mph), or Mach 1.25  on 14 October 2012, and became the first person to break the sound barrier without vehicular power on his descent.

In his next stunt he will be taking on the challenge of the Green Hell, aka, Ze legendary Nordschleife AKA Ze Nurburgring.   Felix will drive the Audi R8 GT LMS at the 24 Hours of Nurburgring in a few weeks time.  One lap of the Ze Nurburgring is approximately 14 miles in length.   It is also a track that many of the greatest race car drivers in history feel is too dangerous.
