Crown Jewels of Motorsport

Crown Jewels of Motorsport

We are approaching that point in the global racing season where we get to see the pinnacle of motorsport events that everyone should put on their bucket list to go see in person.  Memorial Day weekend marks two of the crown jewels of racing.  The Formula 1 Grand Prix of Monaco and the Indianapolis 500.

Check your local cable listings for both events.

Monaco tends to be the most glamorous event on the F1 calendar as celebrities and the ultra rich crowd the grid.  Its also the only F1 race that runs on a street circuit and is the narrowest track they will race all season.

The Indy 500 will take up most of your Sunday afternoon so we suggest you tune in for the last 15 laps which are usually the most exciting.  The modern version of the Indy 500 becomes 485 laps of fuel and tire saving with drivers only really pushing at the end.
