Record Breaker!

Porsche in its farewell tour of the Porsche 919 fielded its 919 Evo Tribute at the Green Hell to smash the Nurburgring lap record with Porsche factory driver Timo Bernhard.  Porsche set a new track record of 5:19.55.  The previous track record was set by Stefan Bellof in 1983 behind the wheel of a Porsche 956 with a lap of 6.11.13.

The on-board video is so fast that it looks like a video game.
