RIP Vic Edelbrock Jr. 8/23/36 - 6/9/17

There's not much for us to say...

If you're reading this post on this automotive page, you undoubtedly know all you need to know.  If you follow performance cars from any era, you know the name and you've seen the hardware.  The Edelbrock name is synonymous with making your American car perform and look better than it did when it left the factory.

Edelbrock took over his father's small company over in 1962 and made it into an American automotive empire.  Though we know his company will continue to innovate and help gearheads of all abilities make more horsepower, we know his passing will weigh heavy on them.  Vic was a larger than life personality, a lover of cars and a passionate advocate for his product and his industry.

Our thoughts and condolences go out to the Edelbrock family and employees.  He will be missed.
