Over the weekend, a Koenigsegg Agera RS achieved a record of 33.29secs to from 0-249-0, over eight seconds faster than a Bugatti Chiron.
The Agera RS managed a quarter mile run in 9.96secs making it a ten second car. Finally, The Agera RS managed an average top speed of 277.87mph over two runs, making it is the fastest production car in the world. .
The Koenigsegg Agera RS driven by Niklas Lilja achieves a new world record top speed for a road-legal production vehicle. High speed runs were conducted on a closed section of US Highway 160 near Pahrump, Nevada, on November 4th 2017. Runs were made in both directions to compensate for any variation in topography and prevailing wind.
