2016-Thank You!

As 2016 winds down, we've been contemplating the various ways in which we might look back on the year.  If you’ve checked your social media feeds you will see that everyone is doing it.  Almost every website, blog or thing-in-between is posting look-backs of their favorite stories, or highlights of what they accomplished.  Sorry to say it, but it seems a little self-serving, “hey look at the awesome things we accomplished, HAPPY NEW YEAR!”

The fact is that we are just a couple of automotive obsessed fan boys.  We set out to share our passion (mental illness?) with those who care, or those who share the same sickness.  Our goals are small.  Document our experiences at racetracks, auto shows, car meet-ups or even the happenstance mystery car we find on local streets, all in the hopes that others might catch the illness that fully enwraps our lives.  Our expectations continue to be exceeded as a trickle of support in our early days has turned into a wave (OK, a large ripple) as fans and friends emerged from unlikely places.

With that being said, our look back on 2016 is simple.  A simple thank you to all of our fans, our readers, contributors and all the others that have made our exploits possible.  Your simple likes and follows are the fuel that keeps the TLP engine running.  We could not have gotten this far without all of you and your support.

Lastly, we must thank our families for their support and encouragement, or at least turning a blind eye to when we sneak a car documentary into the Netflix cue.
